Alex has been practicing engineering in the Wichita, Sedgwick County area beginning in 1996 with Ruggles & Bohm P.A.  From 1996 to 1999 Alex’s design experience focused mainly on residential streets, sanitary sewers, storm sewers, detention systems and water lines.   

Mr. Lane relocated to the Kansas City area in 1999 and served as designer and project manager for several commercial developments.  Alex also received training and gained experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling while in the Kansas City area.  Alex returned to Ruggles & Bohm in 2004 and continued serving as a project engineer for both residential and commercial developments while also continuing to perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, with an occasional capital improvement project thrown in.  Alex’s recent projects include Sawmill Creek Phase III, Willow Creek Estates, Emerald Bay Addition, Crestlake Addition, Hiatt Hills Paving Project ( Winfield , KS ) and Fiber Dynamics and Residence Inn site development.
