Mr. Clevenger began working
for Ruggles & Bohm P.A. in February 1999 as a draftsman. He was
fortunate to have the opportunity to work both inside and out which
helped to broaden his knowledge of the field. In May of 2005, William
passed the Fundamentals of Land Surveying to become an Intern Land
Surveyor. This pushed him even harder to pursue licensure and In May of
2006, passed the remaining tests to earn his Land Surveyor License. Currently William works
inside on various types of surveying projects, with a majority of his
work being subdivision platting. Subdivision platting is the most
enjoyable part of his career because of the creativity necessary and the
attention to detail needed. MILITARY EXPERIENCE: William graduated from
Campus High School in 1997 and joined the United States Marine Corps
reserve where he trained as an Infantry Rifleman (as do all Marines) and
as an Embarkation Specialist. In his capacity as an Embarkation
Specialist, Mr. Clevenger coordinated the transportation of people and
equipment on air, land, and sea. He
achieved the rank of Corporal, and served six years active reserve and
two years inactive ready reserve. His
service with the Marine Corps took him to assignments in Hawaii, San
Diego, Camp Pendleton, and Twenty Nine Palms, California. Serving in the Marine Corps
as a Corporal, William learned the challenges of leadership and the work
necessary to keep order in his squad. His time in the military taught
him how important teamwork is to accomplish the mission. |
